Fabrication of LC cells to study the electro-optical behaviour of particles-in-LC suspensions.

Research Description:
He is investigating how the nanoparticle loading, shape, surface chemistry, applied pre-shear and an external electric field govern the rheological response and the underlying microstructure in both isotropic and liquid crystal (LC) medium.
