Research Description:
My research aim is to study the rheology and microstructure of nanocomposite hydrogels and increase the mechanical strength of hydrogels. This study probes the effect of nanoparticle size, concentration, and shape on mechanical properties and in turn on the biomedical applications of hydrogels. My research also aims to develop a platform to create a 3-D environment to develop a cancer tumor model and study the effect of anti-cancer drugs on it.
